Sattva The Awakening Garden

We stayed at the resort for a day. The resort is really big and well maintained with big and neat rooms. However, the food and service was not worth the money (we had to pay peak rates due to holiday season). The buffet dinner did not have wide spread and the dishes were salty. The buffet breakfast was okay but the dishes were again salty. The buffet lunch was also not that great. The room service was pathetic. When we asked for something they said there were no staff which is none of a customer's concern.We asked for two bottles of water in the morning which was never delivered but was included in the bill. There was no much indoor recreation facility like table tennis, pool table etc. other than a carrom board. The toiletteries were also not sufficient (no dental kit, just one shower cap and a small soap) Overall not satisfied with the money that was paid.

Our stay at Sattva, Kakkadampoyil was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly and made us feel right at home. The attention to detail in every aspect of the resort, especially the landscaping to go with the tagline, "awakening" was remarkable. The accommodation was decent ,clean, with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The room service was prompt, and the amenities provided were good, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing stay. Maybe it’s time they changed the mattresses; and redid the bathrooms too. Furthermore, the resort's facilities were outstanding. The pool area was pristine, offering a serene environment to unwind and for the kids to play. The Food provided was tasty, and not too heavy on a palate. There was anaother group of 40+ and when they came in togther , the chef was unable to refill as quickly as the trays emptied, which was a little uncomfortable for us as we had to wait for food mid meal; Maybe it was beyond their service capacity, so i wouldnt hold it against the resort; but they need to be prepared next time. What truly set this resort apart was the staff's dedication and their friendliness, professionalism, and willingness to go above and beyond made our stay memorable. I highly recommend Sattva to anyone in and around Kozhikode/Malapuram looking for a quick luxurious easy getaway. It's a haven of relaxation, not very far away, and not crowded like wayanad.
